What it does
Everything you need from a browser, minus the memory.
Nothing is saved
History, cookies, cache and site data live in memory only. Close the app and they're gone.
Forget everything
One tap closes every tab and throws away everything the session collected.
Forgets by itself
Leave the app and Sporløs forgets right away, after a minute or after 15 minutes. Or only when you tap.
Blocks trackers and ads
A list built into the app stops the usual trackers and ads, and each page shows what was stopped.
Private tabs
Open as many as you like, swipe back and forward, pull to refresh. They all vanish together.
Locked and hidden
Lock Sporløs with Face ID or your passcode if you like. The app switcher only shows the Sporløs logo, never your page.
Your search engine
DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Google or Bing. No suggestions, so nothing you type leaves the phone before you tap Go.
The handy bits
Block JavaScript, ask for the desktop site, find on page, share and copy links. Known sites are upgraded to HTTPS.
iPhone and iPad
Any orientation, light and dark mode, seven languages. Needs iOS 17 or later.

What private browsing does, and what it doesn't
Sporløs makes sure your iPhone or iPad doesn't remember where you've been. It can't make you invisible on the internet, and it won't pretend to.
Your phone forgets
- No history, cookies, cache or site data once you forget
- No bookmarks and no downloads, because they'd be traces
- Nothing you type leaves the phone until you tap Go
- The app switcher shows the Sporløs logo, not your page
- Trackers and ads on the built-in list are blocked
The internet still sees
- The sites you visit see your IP address and what you do there
- Your Wi-Fi, a work or school network and your internet provider can see which sites you connect to
- If you sign in to a site, that site knows it's you
- It's not a VPN: your location and your traffic aren't hidden

Sporløs is free. That's the whole app and every feature, with no ads and no subscription. Just use it, and students: keep your money for noodles.
If you're doing alright, you can become a supporter inside the app. That gets you the show-off icons: a few extra app icons, so your home screen knows you're not just another freeloader. Nothing gets locked, and freeloaders are still very welcome. Peter isn't judging. Much.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every feature is free for everyone, with no ads and no subscription. The only purchase is the optional Supporter, which adds show-off icons and changes nothing else.
What happens when I tap Forget everything?
Every tab closes, and the cookies, cache, history and site data from the session are thrown away. You're back on an empty start page, as if you'd never been anywhere. It can't be undone.
What if I just leave the app?
Then Sporløs forgets by itself, after 1 minute away, unless you pick something else in Settings: right away, after 15 minutes, or only when you tap Forget everything. Either way, your browsing is never written to storage.
Which search engines can I use?
DuckDuckGo (the default), Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Google and Bing. Sporløs fetches no search suggestions, so what you type stays on the phone until you tap Go.
Does it block ads?
It blocks trackers and many ads with a list built into the app, and each page shows what it stopped. It isn't a full ad blocker, so some ads still get through, especially the ones a site serves itself.
Is Sporløs a VPN?
No. The sites you visit, your network and your internet provider can still see your traffic, as with any browser. Sporløs makes sure your phone keeps nothing. Use a VPN you trust if you also want to hide the traffic.
Why are there no bookmarks or downloads?
Because they'd be traces. A list of bookmarks or a downloaded file tells anyone holding your phone where you've been, so leaving them out is deliberate.
I bought the Supporter. What now?
Thank you! Pick a show-off icon in Settings. Every feature was already yours. On a new iPhone or iPad, open Settings in Sporløs and tap Restore Purchase.
Is Incognito now Sporløs?
Yes. If you had Incognito, called Color Browser on your home screen, you already have Sporløs: it's the same app, rebuilt from scratch in 2026 and given a new name. It arrives as an ordinary update, with nothing to move or set up.
